Globi und die Chiros zu Besuch bei Jungwacht Blauring Schweiz
Between Chiro and Jubla there is a partnership
which includes once a year a trip.
This year we will travel through Switzerland
with Globi our new friend.
For this exchange
a lot of things are arranged.
We’ll go to Solothurn, Wallis, Aargau and Bern
but also to St.Gallen, Appenzell and Luzern.
In Switzerland there is a lot to explore:
mountains, snow, culture and much more.
At the end everything will be done
and we all had a lot of fun.
All of us will become friends
that the partnership never ends.

Day 1
Welcome Chiros to Switzerland
first we played some games hand in hand.
It was a perfect first day
and they told us, they wanna stay.
Day 2
A morning shared with our hospitable host family
And Team 6 informed us about Jubla and Switzerland.
A new friend was introduced to us named Globi
a famous cartoon character in Switzerland.
In Wallis we experienced our first snowy day
but the cold never bothered us anyway.
Indeed, Switzerland has cool breezy weather,
but we were warmed with Jubla's smiles and laughter.
We enjoyed dinner at Simone's place.
We ate cheese and chocolates over our plates.
They wore the Swiss traditional dress
and they played the Alphorn, we were impressed.
Day 3
We had a fun time with Blauring Glis
and a city tour at Wallis
We also met the leaders of Jubla Wallis as they are on courses
And we visited different places even churches.
Moo! Moo! says the cow in the farm
They are sociable and their milk is warm
Easter egg hunt is exciting and fun
As we go around the farm and run.
Day 4
We go to Zermatt by train to see the Matterhorn mountain. Hot drinks on hand we played a game, we enjoyed the snow which cold is still the same!
At St. Niklaus we visit Jubla Zaniglas.
They prepared foods and games for us.
We make new friends that will last
until we meet again and cross our paths!
Day 5
We enjoy our day in the snow
How we wish time went slow
Up in the mountains we also see the glacier
While having our lunch and foods to share
Incredible cable cars were very high
But we don't mind even if we reach the sky
We enjoy slides and ski as we do
Up to the very night we taste the Fondue
Day 6
In Chillon Castle we make some memories
and learned from its historical stories
We missed walking under the sun,
ate lunch near Lake Geneva, we had fun!
Those different chocolates we encounter.
Such an informative museum we discover.
With our take home chocolates we carry.
Wow! Such a dazzling chocolate factory.
Day 7
The day in the capital of Switzerland
started in the parliament.
The tour in the Bundeshaus was impressive
as well as the Münster - the building is massive.
Up there, we enjoyed the fresh and windy air
and saw the Zytglogge, funny fountains and the bears.
In the evening, we cooked with our host families
after that, we played games and shared stories.
Day 8
The Swiss Post was really fast and organized
as they sort the parcels to different places with different sizes.
We also visited the Paraplepic Center in Nottwil
where we saw the brave and independent people on the wheel.
Blauring Buttisholz welcomed us warmly
as we join them in prayer and danced gracefully.
Mark also march for his graduation
and everybody said congratulation!
Day 9
We had an orientation about the courses-to-be
and then we encounter Jubla Rottalmania with Globi.
Had a BBQ and beer in the evening
and packed our things for the course that is coming.
Day 10
It’s a blessed day with our host family.
We attended white Sunday service with the community.
We travel separately to the courses.
We bid goodbyes to each other as we go to different places.
Day 11-16
GLK Relei Brugg
First full course, it was indescribable.
The learnings we made were incredible.
Games in the snow, it was enjoyable.
The bonding we had was unforgettable.
Drinks were cheered,
cards were played,
smiles were shared,
laughter was heard.
SLK B18
Here at SLK B18, we are excited everyday.
There are different activities to do day by day.
With our godparents by our side to translate
and fun-filled lessons we always appreciate.
In the course, everyday is a highlight.
We are learning and having a good time until night.
We also cooked Adobo, a Filipino food
and everybody said it was really good.
SLK 2 Jubla West
First SLK morning was rainy and freezing.
Still, we played sport games that are interesting.
Steps on camp planning we’ve learned,
different responsibilities of leaders were known.
Experiencing new things is exciting,
Sharing our food and games is amazing.
We cooked pancit unexpectedly,
played Chiro games happily.
Meeting new people was not simple,
but they are friendly and accommodating we felt comfortable.
SLK was productive and we were fascinated,
a lot of activities, games and theories were imparted.
Day 17
Service at St. Ottilien chapel is a great way to start our Sunday.
We learn how to see, judge, act and celebrate as we pray.
The brunch prepared by Blauring Buttisholz makes our tummies full.
All of this makes our partnership really cool.
We went to Abbey Einsiedeln where many pilgrims visit.
There we meet a monk and tour us inside it.
We drive and crave for an ice cream in Brunnen
before we went on a cruise and enjoyed the view up to Luzern.
Day 18
We tour around the beautiful town of Baden
which we appreciate its history that can’t be forgotten.
We witnessed the colourful celebration of Sechseläuten in Zürich.
We saw their gorgeous clothes and listened to their harmonic music.
We met the Jubla leaders of Rütihof and had dinner.
We made some Raclette and played some UNO together.
Day 19
It’s the last day in the beautiful town of Buttisholz.
We are glad that we had a chance to visit their schools.
In Fastenopfer office, they explained to us what they do.
They help many people not just in the Philippines but in other countries, too.
Walking in the city of Luzern is more fun with ice cream.
We also saw the Jubla Bulei we ever dream.
We also met the hardworking people behind it.
At the end we had a sumptuous dinner with our host family to eat.
Day 20
WEDNESDATE with impressive and wonderful children of Swiss international school in Wollishofen.
LUNCHDATE with beautiful girl Martina, we ate spaghetti, salad and the taste is unforgotten.
AFTERNOONDATE with nature where we went to the large Rheinfall in Schaffhausen.
NIGHTDATE with Blauring Wil, we played bowling, had drinks and lots of fun.
Day 21
St. Gallen is such a beautiful place.
Every corner and street of it we are amazed.
Also, our host families are really welcoming.
Until now, we still have goosebumps from the yodelling.
Day 22
We had a cheesy day in Appenzell
as we discover the famous cheese they tell.
A yummy lunch was prepared by Kevin’s family.
And gave us gifts we can take to our country.
Cultural night was the greatest show ever,
we sang and danced and treasured it forever.
Day 23
Today, we are really blessed.
St. Niklaus is the Church we visited.
We went to Wil and ate in the forest.
The evaluation and final night together was the best!
Day 24
Happily shared brunch together
and attended the mass to give thanks as a family.
New learnings and unforgettable memories we gather,
now we move forward and continue our trip with Globi!
